This summer was intersting, crazy, had such a great time! Loved every minute I was able to spend with my amazing family!!!!! I cant believe how big all my nieces and nephews are getting!! I love them all so much! And now that my camera isnt broken, there will be alot more updates and uploads!!!
DARBY'S GIRL CAMP JULY 2009 I was assistant camp director this year and the week I spent with those girls was amazing! IT was exhausting, but changed me in ways I cant explain!! I love all these girls
This years Christmas was a great one!!!! I love when everyone gets together. We always have a huge party at my moms house where everyone eats, we play games, open presents and just have an amazing time together. My niece and nephews are so great to be around!!!! Plus got an early xmas present this year, IM DIVORCED!!! Anyways, I hope this next year has some great things in store. I cant wait to see what happens
So saturday I moved out and moved into my new place and my parents had done so much 4 me that I wanted to repay them in a small way. My friend Neal and his band Royal Bliss were in town so he hooked me up with tickets and got my parents right in the front row. It was so great to turn and look at them and see how much they were enjoying themselves. I even had the chance where Neal pulled me on stage to sing a song with him. It was amazing night and again thank you to Neal and the guys of Royal Bliss. You dont know how much that meant!!!
I have some amazing friends and they have made some of the hardest things I have had to go through and deal with this year very easy, here are some recent pics. They are a wild bunch and its totally crazy and fun to me cause I am the only sober one and I laugh so hard just watching them. So much has been going on lately I swear I dont know when its going to slow down. I am currently in the process of looking to move back up to Rexburg, even though I swore I never would, but my situation right now, its the best solution. I had an amazing birthday last week, yea I am struggling with the fact that I am in my last year of my 20's but I plan to make it the best. I have been feeling great, my drs started me on some new medication and it just seems to be doing the trick, so I am glad about that, my ridiculous weight loss has seemed to slow down. Halloween this year was one of the best I have had in so long, I went out with amazing people and created a new bond and group that are so supportive and just simply amazing, here are some pics of our crazy night. I wish I could get my camera to work, who knows one day lol.
I am not sure that all of you know but I am now single and loving life. Things with me and Joey wre just not meant to be and hey I am completely ok with that. I have been working as a photographer and looking into getting back into school. There are tons of new pictures that I need to get posted and I am working on that. Besides that medical things are going ok, just trying some new things and everything else in life is going great!!
I am such an airhead lately that I completely forgot to put Kellen's graduation pics up. He graduated June 1st and here it is June 22nd. LOL I guess better late than never. He wasnt exactly thrilled about this whole process, I think he was in it just to get the presents and cake after!!! I just can't believe how big my nieces and nephews are all getting.
For those of you who know and those of you who don't know I have been currently working on writing a book and man oh man who knew how hard it would actually be. I have been working with a consultant with a publishing company and they have been helping me out immensly. The book is basically about what to do before, during and after a deployment for familes in the military. There are so many resources that I am having to go through and getting permissions to use some info has been very difficult, but in the end its going to be worth it. I am definetly going back and taking a college english class again just to freshen up on some basics. As much as I dont want it to, this book is going to take a while. I am working on the outline and it is very complicated due to the many phases and issues and things that need to be taken care of with this subject. MY consultant is great and I have daily contact with her. I just need to get my outline finished and then get to writing. I am excited, something to consume my time and something I can do even when I am sick. There is already a lot of interest in this book, but luckily the publisher I am working with has made it so the rights on my book and the idea are locked down tight so no one can swoop in and steal it and run off with it before I have the chance to get mine out there. THe crazy thing about this is I have already gotten 2 more ideas for books to write, one is a children's book and another is based on medical situations and the whole field and knowing what to do, what not to do, the right way to go about things, whoknows, maybe one day I will get into fictional and this might be my new career.
MY friend Lissa's little 8 year old girl was diagnosed with stomach and esophagal cancer in December and the Dr's havent given her very long to live. We are currently in the process of trying to start fundraisers to get her up to a cancer center in Northern Idaho, but it has been very difficult in such a small town. If anyone knows of places to go or people that would be willing to help out a single mom with her little girl, please let me know!! Thank you!
I am just living life each day the best I can. And I am happy for the 1st time in a long time. I am currently struggling with a few medical conditions, but am not letting them define who I am. I have been everywhere and done so many things in my life that I never thought possible. I have an amazing group of friends and family and dont know where I would be without them today, I basically try to live everyday of my life to its fullest.
